Choosing the Right Webhost

Choosing a webhost is something we all need to consider in order to be able to start our online venture. However, many will tell you of their problems with their host, such as bandwidth limitations, unfriendly tech support, my sql limits and the list goes on and on and on.

What To Look For In a Host:

# Support – Your site will go down at times even though your most likely promised 99% uptime so you need support, preferrably via phone or live chat online.

# Got What You Need – By this I mean the host offers a package that suits you. Not everyone needs a dedicated server straight away. People new to the web are more than satisfied with a cheap shared package.

# No database limits – Chances are once you create one website you will create another, then another and so on, having a limit on amount of database?s will be very annoying so choose a package that offers unlimited amount or alot (i.e 5x more than necessary)

# Do Your Research! – Never and I repeat NEVER buy from a web host without doing a heck of a lot of what we like to call ?googling?! Chances are you find people will have had problems with a host or find that they are scammers in which case you do not want to fork over your cash. Check out forums such as digital point and other webmaster forums/sites for people recommendations or reviews. From personal experience, trust me on this one!

Luckily for us, web hosting geeks have compiled an extensive list of various webhosts available around the net for us all to check out. What makes these guys special is that they give each website a unique rating along with web hosting reviews and web hosting articles to allow us, the end buyer, to evaluate the host in question before departing with our money.

Web Hosting Geeks

SweetHacks is currently hosted by micfo on a $150 a month dedicated server (20% discount) but according to webhostinggeeks.com, I could be getting the same specs for $99 a month! which is something to definitely consider.

The extensive user reviews is something which caught my attention as it helps with the research required to get the right host. We should have a good webhost to be able to have a good future online so we can build a good online community as well as passive online income.

So if your looking for a webhost, give webhostinggeeks.com a shout!
