Unbrick Your PSP

THIS IS A REPOST OF THE ORIGINAL POST THAT WAS LOST WITH THE UPGRADE!

After about 10 emails since writing the original post about “unbricking your psp” I have decided to write about it again, this time with some guidelines which may (notice the keyword “may”) help you “unbrick” your PSP.

You will need the undiluted platinum modchip (picture below) which can be brought from www.modchipstore.com

Once you got the modchip, follow the simple instructions below:

Download the Epsilon Bootloader (see end of post)

Install Epsilon Bootloader with the U.P Flasher Tool (see end of post)

Get a 1.5 Flash File from the internet (PM me if you need help)

Rename that 1.5 Flash File, NOT A EBOOT

Place it on the root of your memory stick

Use Epsilon Recovery Menu(it will load up when you turn on your psp as you haven’t got 2.71 on your onboard + its bricked at the moment)

Use Restore Onboard Nand using that 1.5 Flash File

At this moment wait a few minutes

Turn on your psp Holding the L-trigger

1.5 is loaded

You might now want 2.71+ on your on-board nand to use Epsilon
