Let Full Time* Blogging Commence!

How long has it been since I have blogged about technology??? The competition I have been holding has simply taken up all my time…and on top of that, I have been literally handed over a job so what little free time I have to blog has been trampled over!

But here I am still blogging away like nothing matters – 7 days have passed and something must have been happening in the world of consoles that we have all missed…lets get upto speed!

Damn Sony, damn them to hell. Apparently they have been working hard to get rid of the downgrader’s available and not only has “Dark-Alex” quit the PSP scene but now Sony are focusing on the “patching” of all lumines copy to require the v3.51 firmware. This has only been confirmed with the very latest Japanese ‘Greatest Hits’ Lumines Edition. Source: Noobz.eu

In the Xbox 360 scene, Maximus seems to have created a new Toolbox (V 4.0)

It is possible to flash by software the 79 drives but needs the previous installation of a physical device (as the one proposed by team xecuter).

Hardware devices will be needed until a better solution arrives (our research never stop). Me and some friends have developed also a small device to allow the flashing, the info can be accesed here: v79 FlashKey

Note, this does NOT mean that you can dump and flash benq firmwares with fw toolbox. It simply supports reading the firmware and spoofing it. Source: xbox-Scene
