First of all get my damn name straight! Its Abdalla and NOT Abdallah.

Secondly, When I last used this shitty program it triggered a influx of installs such as the shitty toolbar and homepage change along with spyware. Now this may have been mje surfing another website or whatever but it does not change the fact that I prefer this software over DT.

Furthermore, why do I think you and the other geezer work for DT themselves? No one really cares what programs rubbish or not as long as they both do their jobs perfectly.

Alex, I'm afraid Jim has the right ideam, if not the most tactful approach to indicating it.

Slamming software just because you assume it will install everything it presents to you is incorrect, and horribly biased. If we just take the word of someone, useful things might never be used by anyone. Daemon Tools gives the option of installing the toolbars and changing the home page.

These have never been forced on any user (I should know, I've used DT for over 5 years), so Abdallah saying that ads are built in and that the toolbar is installed and annoying is blatantly wrong.

The fact that Abdallah chooses to pass comment on software with obvious and incorrect bias is a bad thing indeed, as he of all people should carefully research what he says before posting it on a global forum such as the Internet.

You also say he does all the research, but by the example of Jim and myself, we can clearly see he does not. This is like saying "Linux is rubbish" or "Macs are crap," without ever having installed or used Linux or having purchased a Mac.

as a matter of fact the mere point that your reading his blog Mr Jim portrays the fact that you seem to find it usefull and also childish name calling is uncalled for especially after the fact he merely told you his point of view and as a matter of fact i, who currently runs a page rank 8 page comes to his website because he does all the research and simply makes my life simpler.
And finally i believe you should jump out the window with your stupid comment

You are obviously biased towards this product or merely a fool to claim and believe that Daemon Tools installs anything you, as a user, don't explicitly allow it to. Daemon Tools has no Spyware and the only Ad's or toolbar that could possibly be installed you agreed to. The product is free and IF you agree to it during the application install, it will put some links on your desktop, install a tool bar and change the home page of your browser. But again, you HAVE to agree to this. Anyone who can't figure this out shouldn't be posting "tutorials" on the web and should be playing with Crayola and coloring on scrap paper.
