Hello boys and girls,

Yes you read the title right. ad:tech is finally coming to the UK meaning all the big brand online advertisers are going to be present. Companies such as Google and Microsoft (adcenter) will be present with their own booths and some even presenting talks and conferences.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone to learn about online marketing whether it be the promotion of your website/blog or your own products. Part 1- Hacking Your Phone

It is imperative that you hack your phone to be able to play N-Gage with its cr@cked games. Here is what is to be done:

First install the appropriate version of AppTRK for your phone.

I presume so already have Nokia PC Suite/Nseries PC Suite on your PC. Connect your phone to your PC via ‘PC Suite’ mode, and open the AppTRK. Coonect it in

usb mode instead of bluetooth.

Now Run SecMan.exe and follow the given instructions and complete the installation to to finally get SecMan on your phone.

Open SecMan on your phone. From options, click on ‘Turn Plat. Security Off’ to activate this app’s capabilities, and also click on ‘Install Root Certificate’

for later purposes.

Hello Carbide Hack for NEWER firmwares & Phones like
E71 ( For those who don’t have PC)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Install HelloCarbide. Don’t open it yet.

Open Caps On/ Off from zip

preFP1_CapsOnOff.rar for SymbianOS 9.1 (Pre-FP1 Phones)

FP1_CapsOnOff.rar for SymbianOS 9.2 (FP1 as well as FP2 Phones)

extract the contents of the archive to your phone but DO NOT OPEN!

Open xplore, leave it open in the background.

Open HelloCarbide, select Options -> Menu1. You should get a message saying “done… Probably”. Select ‘Yes’.

Open xplore from the background. Navigate to where you extracted the Caps On/Off files and copy the file CProfDriver_SISX.ldd to C:\sys\bin

Restart your phone and install Caps On and Caps Off.

Now you’ll have access to system directories, whenever you select the application “Caps Off”. To turn off system file access, open the application “Caps On”.

To install files without signing or using SignSis, use these files:

installserver.exe for Symbian OS 9.1 (Pre-FP1 Phones)

installserver.exe for Symbian OS 9.2 (FP1 as well as FP2 Phones)

installserver.exe for Nokia 3250, 5500, E50, E61 (Pre-FP1 Phones)

Make sure you have system directories. If not, open the “Caps Off” application.

Copy proper installserver.exe to C:\sys\bin

You’re done! Now you can install unsigned apps and apps with expired certificates without any signing nonsense. No more SymbianSigned, no more SignSis!

Part 2- Installing NGAGE application on your phone
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Step 1-
Install the ngage launcher that i’m providing on your memory card.

Ignore the application not compatible error or symbian os pips missing error. This may take 5-6 minutes. Please be patient.

Step 2-
Install the symbian os pips V1.02 to memory card that i’m providing after completion of ngage installer.
Note- N78, N96, 5320 users don’t install pips

Step 3-
Now copy the 20001079.txt file that i’m providing according to your respective phone model and version to the folder c:/private/10202be9 with any file

manager. For example xplore.

This is not required for any Nseries phone and 5320. They already have landscape mode.

NOTE- The one from Landscape for 5700,6110,6120.rar- 4 those phones in file name, rest FP1 and FP2 phones

For all phones except Officially compatible phones and Nseries phones, games can be played in portrait mode using file 20001079.txt given in ngage all files

and installservers.rar

TO DO THIS, YOU MUST TURN PLATFORM SECURITY OFF / CAPS OFF TO SEE PRIVATE FOLDER.

Step 4-
Now install patch file that i have provided to memory card. THIS STEP IS MUST IF YOU WANT PROPER GAMEPLAY. For this add proper installserver to c:/sys/bin

PATCH INSTALLATION IS MUST FOR EVERY PHONE, EVEN FOR N81, N82, N95

Step 5-
Now open the ngage application, do nothing and exit it. After doing this, go to xplore and you will a folder created named e:/n-gage. Exit xplore.

Step 6-
Get an .n-gage game file from download links given in my next post.
Now copy the .n-gage game file to e:/n-gage with xplore, after this close xplore.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU SHOULD COPY THE FILE, YOU SHOULD NOT MOVE IT TO THAT FOLDER.

Step 7-
Now turn the platform security on / caps on and leave it running in the background. Launch ngage application. Installation of game will automatically start.

Install it on memory card. After installation finishes, Simply launch the game by clicking start game. Game will start in about 10-15 seconds. Enjoy gaming.

Tested with my 5700, 6120 and n73me.

Part 3- Getting the application to work on non-compatible
phones in Landscape mode like 5700, 6110, 6120

Download Landscape for 5700,6110,6120.rar and extract 20001079.txt from it.
Send the file to your phone.

Open X-Plore and copy the ‘20001079′ to the following location C:\Private\10202be9\20001079.txt

Search out the file C:\Private\10202be9\persists\20001079.cre and delete it.

N80 and 3250 users don’t delete this .cre file

You can now turn Platform Security back on in SecMan or CapsOn in hellocarbide method. To install a game simple run its exe file on pc and extract and then

copy its *.n-gage file to the Ngage folder on your memory card (Detailed description given below)

Time Saving Procedure to install Ngage Games on your phone

Open the .exe file of ngage game you want to install on pc.

Don’t connect your mobile to your pc.

When you get a window asking you if you already have metro trk n ngage application, click on both n proceed.

New window will appear saying that metro trk port not found.

Don’t worry. Simply click on extract n-gage file to pc. In a second or two, you will find n-gage game file in the same folder.

Now simply copy this file on your phone to e:/n-gage folder n installation will start once you open ngage application from your phone. That’s it. Done.

1) Is hacking must?

Answer- yes it is, if you don’t hack, neither you can paste the text file nor you can install the patch.

2) On n73, when i launch app, i’m getting message- you need to download newer version, download now? If i say yes, it says you already have newer version, no

update needed. If i say no, app exits, what should i do?

Answer- for this hacking is must. Ngage application gets installed on n73 even if it is not hacked but can’t proceed.

3) Everything worked fine for me but when i tried to launch game, screen went blank and it returned back to ngage home screen. What should i do?

Answer- this is because of low ram. Ngage is an application that eats a lot ram. Remove any background application from phone that eats ram such as

antivirus, call recorder, full screen caller etc n free some ram.
