Japanese entertainment magazine BARKS has alleged that a powered-on Wii emits a sound frequency which falls right into the range to which cockroaches are attracted. Which means for your next session of nintendo wii’ing, you may have a couple of buddies joining you from the insect world, yes thats right, santa roach may visit you!

Now this is just a theory but hey, either way its bizarre!

Video Games Make Kids Stupid?

November 29, 2007 by Abdalla Ahmed · 1 Comment

I firmly believe in the fact that no one is born stupid or “dumb”, that everyone has a choice to either be someone special i.e clever or someone stupid if they want too. However, recent research claims that playing video games are making children “stupid”! This is absurd and I REFUSE to believe in this without more proof!

Boy Hired Hit Man to Kill Parents for Playstation (and tv) Punishment!

November 6, 2007 by Ghumra · 1 Comment

This is the latest entry to our “Most Bizarre!” category that we try to feature once a week and boy have we got another weird entry for you all.

Imagine having a kid (or two) and getting non stop reports on how bad he/she/they are doing in school, punishment time right? Yeah, you would normally ground them and hope they have learned their lesson within the period of punishment. Well, this would be all fine and dandy ONLY if your kid did not play any of the “Hitman” series game!

hitman1

Meet suburban American parents, Shannan and Joey Troiano who worried about their son?s behaviour and his bad grades at high school. And like many teenagers, Cory Ryder was grounded for weeks at a time, had a PlayStation confiscated and was banned from watching TV.

hitman2

Nothing Special Here, So what Am I Getting At??

Less typically, this 16-year-old was plotting to murder his parents by hiring a hitman, while his mother was organising a sting operation involving a police officer posing as a contract killer.

Yes thats right, the kid actually hires (or tries hiring) a hitman to eliminate his “lack of playstation” problem, essentially his mother!

hitman3

The bizarre thing about the whole situation apart from “son trying to kill mother” is that the boy met with the alleged “hitman” who so happened to be an undercover police officer:

Mrs Troiano remembers the night on June 2 when she discovered that the vague threats her son had made were serious. A woman Cory trusted, the mother of one of his friends, took him to a hotel room where he met an undercover police officer pretending to be a hitman.

After a few hours? waiting, the policeman called: Cory was in custody and would be charged with attempted murder. Mrs Troiano fell to her knees in the bathroom she was cleaning and burst into tears.

hitman4

?Two bullets is all it takes,? he is alleged to have said.

Police say that Cory offered the undercover officer his stepfather?s new pickup truck as payment for killing his parents. 1 Crazy kid, I can only feel sympathy for the mother and family involved and I hope my kid doesn’t turn out like that!
