We all know Dell produce fantastic notebooks and computers but they are not known for producing the most good looking appliances when compared to the rest.
Should I tell you why they are not known for design but rather quality? Its simple, when they try the end result is always something like this; A severely overpriced, $1,200, 22-inch crystal monitor.

$200 Blu Ray Drive.
November 16, 2007 by Abdalla Ahmed · 2 Comments
Philips & Lite-On Digital Solutions (PLDS) introduced the Lite-On DH-4O1S, the company’s first BD-ROM drive available for a more affordable price of $200, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than the ones currently in the market from reputable companies.
Sadly It doesn?t write or record in the Blu-ray format, but it offers PC users a less expensive means to playback movies and games in Blu-ray discs. Infact, it will play protected movies;
“the key to decrypt the copy protection is generated by the playback software that comes with the drive.”
With BD-ROM, ?consumers now have an affordable way to view the brilliant picture quality Blu-ray technology offers right on their personal computers,? says Christine Hsing, Marketing Manager at PLDS. It can also serve as a playback device to HD TVs by connecting an HDMI cable from the PC to the TV.

The DH-4O1S BD-ROM retail pack comes with an extra silver bezel to match some computers, and a SATA cable for easy connection. Also included in the package is the latest Cyberlink Power DVD software for playback of Blu-ray disc media, DVD, or CD multi-media content.
So, do we still think HD-DVD is better than Blu Ray? Because many people are simply choosing to buy the Xbox 360 HD-DVD Add on and plug it into their pc via USB.
