Branding is Important, so Create a Logo
December 14, 2007 by Ghumra · 4 Comments
Marc of http://www.thelogocreator.com has created a few fantastic logo design programs that enables us to brand our websites (or products) with logos that are professional from a huge inventory varying from corporate branding to simple loony cartoons (kinda like John Cows theme).
“Create incredible logo, page headers, splash page images, movie titles and more that look like a Photoshop guru spent hours laboring over! It’s like having your own logo design studio… without the studio!
With The Logo Creator by Laughingbird Software - you’ll get a portfolio full of logos that you can modify and personalize yourself, in your own time… for far less than what a designer will charge.”

I will be honest, when I saw this program at first I thought it was a cheap rip off microsoft’s paint program but beneath that exterior “feel” is a very different program that will surprise you and most professional designers in terms of the range of features available to you all.
I have had the benefit of having the “Mega Pak Collection” sent to me to review. What interested me in this program is the simplicity of it all, what used to take me hours to perfect in adobe photoshop (such as the sweethacks logo) would take me about 10 minutes. This is after learning how to use the program of course.
Logos can be exported in 12 formats, including .JPG and, as shown above, transparent .GIFs. For those with a need to have those graphics in print, such as for business cards or stationary, the program allows exports to a higher resolution (300 DPI).
Graphics can also be saved in the program’s native .TLC format for later modification.
TLC comes with 40 installed fonts, but the program will also use the fonts on your system or ones downloaded from the Internet.
To make a logo, the user starts the program and is greeted by a nice looking interface showing a page with thumbnails of potential templates of the 25 logos that come with that module. Users then move forward until they find one they like, click on it and it opens into the main work screen.

The above creative took me a matter of minutes to create with the template already being there (in entertainment mix) all I had to do was change the letters and one effect and away I was to a new fantastic logo!
The Logo Creator includes many templates for developing logos or modifying existing ones which makes it easy to you the user to design your art in a matter of minutes. Perhaps this program can be your gateway to an income by creating designs for new clients.
The installation was fairly quick after the download which enabled me to start working immediately and thankfully it was spyware free which meant no annoying viruses.
As we speak, Abdalla is busy dealing with Marc (The logo Design creator) for a free copy of the software to one of our many readers in the next upcoming weekly contest.
