Sony’s Dancing MP3 Player - “Rolly”

While I have been away the past few days I managed to get hold of Sony’s new “Rolly” - an egg shaped MP3 player that dances to your music. Its small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and has lights around its body that flash in time to the music. Two little flaps at either end of its body open and close to help add extra flair to its movements. the built-in speakers are surprisingly good, considering Rolly’s small Size.

It has 2Gb on board flash memory or you could as I prefer, strem music directly to it using the bluetooth enabled on your other devices such as your cell phone. I have a Nokia n95 8GB so I was loving that feature when I had it to play around with.

It is out in Japan but sadly the UK release has not been announced yet by Sony so I can not buy one right now. Oh well…
