How To Unbrick Your PSP

Pandora’s Battery - Software to un-brick/downgrade EVERY PSP - just like Sony’s JigKick!

Yes its true, during the past few days we where down, the genius’s behind the PSP homebrew scene have now officially sorted out a program where we can officially “unbrick” and “downgrade” our Playstation Portable’s!

One of the biggest if not THE BIGGEST development in the PSP hacking scene has just unfolded. A collective group of hackers including the likes of Dark_Alex, Noobz and Booster have released a new piece of software which will replicate the exact functions of Sony’s Jigkick battery (even better) - that means it is now possible for homebrew enabled PSP’s to UNBRICK and DOWNGRADE their systems at their own will. The respective software will transform any regular PSP battery into one which can perform all the functions of the Official Sony JigKick which is used by Sony repair staff themselves. Even if your PSP is not homebrew enabled, you can just ask a friend who has a homebrew enabled PSP to run the software and transform your battery too!

The most anticipated game of the year is out in stores September 25th (24th in the US). I know it will live up to the hype because the Beta that was released was absolutely sweet! I was hooked on the damn thing, sniping people, lasering them to bits with the new spartan laser & even running them over with the warthog! I am telling you Halo 3 will be number 1 for a long, looong time!

The Laser Listener

Yeah, another unique entry for our “Most Bizarre” Section! This time how about building a less than 5$ laser listener!

This hack is freakin’ awesome infact its exactly what I have been looking for (issues with my little brother/sister) - No more secrets hidden away from me now

Now the hack states you can listen from “hundreds of yards away” but thats a bit extreme, you would need a better laser and you would have to not only setup a laser to hit the window, but also find the reflected light.

You?d basically have to be perfectly perpendicularly positioned (or close enough) to even find the reflected light beam (& that?s assuming you have a bright enough laser to reflect off of a transparent window). (Thanks tmasman)

?In a microphone, sound waves (differences in the pressure of air) cause a diaphragm to vibrate back and forth, altering its resistance to an electric current. When an electric current passes through said diaphragm, the output forms a complex signal which can then be reinterpeted by speakers or a recording device as sound. The device shown here works in a very similar way. Sound bounces off of a window, causing minuscule vibrations (acting like the microphone?s diaphragm). When a laser is trained on the window, its reflection will vibrate with the sound. The laser?s reflection, if converted to an electrical signal can now be recorded as sound. I will outline how I made my own (cost me $3, hope yours is the same or less) - the technically savy among you will spot the countless variations possible on this basic idea.?

Everything is finally back! All the posts have successfully been transferred from the old server to the new one! I am very sorry to have been away for this amount of time but it was either give up on the old data which = invaluable or wait. Thank God we did!

Although the blog author of DisregardMe did put a blog post saying we are back up he did categorize us under “failed contest’s” yeah right! Just ask luey if this was failed or not! or all the previous winners like bobby!
