The first next-gen project for developer Free Radical, in partnership with publisher Ubisoft for a brand new action franchise. Targeting mature gamers, the game aims to feature difficult strategic choices and moral dilemmas, tapping into both their rational and emotional instincts.
From the screen shots that have been given by the producers it seems to be a halo beater, but who knows maybe bungie got something up their sleeves and will kill off any competition. this game is said to be relesed of the PS3 first and then will move onto xbox 360.

New xbox 360 drives said to be shipped third quarter of 2007
May 31, 2007 by Ghumra · Leave a Comment

Lite-On IT has reportedly secured OEM orders for DVD-ROM drives to be built into Microsoft Xbox 360 consoles, with monthly shipments of 0.8-1 million units to begin in the third quarter of 2007, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
Lite-On IT took over BenQ’s optical disc drive business unit in mid-2006 but did not take over the OEM manufacturing rights for Xbox 360 because it was required to obtain new certification from Microsoft, the sources pointed out. Although Lite-On IT will succeed BenQ as the secondary OEM maker of the built-in DVD-ROM drive, the company stands a chance of displacing TSST to take the primary status.

Halo 3 info given out in GamePro mag!
May 31, 2007 by Abdalla Ahmed · 3 Comments
Thanks to a friend of the user Go32111 of GameFAQ Forums we now have information on the new content in halo3 and certain pictures!
from Go321111:
My friend got the newest issue of Gamepro (Issue 226/July 07) and it has some new info.
Sorry for the crappy picture quality, had to use webcam….and sorry for the wall o’ text.![]()
Quoted from the article:
Weapons
Magnum - The Magnum is much improved since Halo 2, dishing out slower, more punishing shots. But it’s still not back to Halo 1 strength, as the clip currently carries just eight rounds and you can’t zoom in. Still a nice, precise choice for dual-wield combos.
Energy Sword - The infamous Sword gets two tweaks aimed at balancing its overwhelming power. One change is a brief weapon-switch delay. The second adjustment is more controversial: the Energy Sword now has an ammo meter that depletes with each attack, which keeps players from hoarding it indefinitely.
Vehicles
Wraith - The lumbering Covenant Wraith returns with a new player-operated secondary turret. It’s helpful for driving off boarding attempts.
Brute Chopper - This ugly, jagged Brute Chopper looks like something Firefly’s Reavers might drive into battle. Its twin cannons nad heavy, blade-like chassis can pulverize lesser vehicles in a nanosecond.
Equipment
Radar Jammer - Hurl this item into a fight and watch as chaos and confusion engulf friend and foe alike. The jammer scrambles the radar of all nearby players and triggers disco-like light flashes to further disorient your prey.
Maps
Shrine - A UNSC battle cruiser looms menacingly over Shrine’s sprawling sand dunes. Shrine is the largest map ever to appear in a Halo game, so Bungie put a key emphasis on vehicle-on-vehicle combat. Shrine has few ties to older Halo 2 maps, but its massive size recalls Relic.
Epitaph - Epitaph is an arcane Forerunner cathedral-like structure that towers above the surrounding wasteland. The central killing floor is crisscrossed with elevated walkways, exterior hallways, and lifts. It’s a spiritual successor to Halo 2 maps like Colossus, Gemini, and Midship.
Last Resort - Zanzibar, one of Halo 2’s most beloved maps, has been rebuilt and rechristened Last Resort for Halo 3. This industrial site is almost twice as big, with a less cluttered internal layout and more paths into the flag room.
Secret Map - Bungie sneakily sent us two mysterious concept paintings labeled only as “Work in Progress Map.” We see the icey motif and pray for a new Lockout, but only Bungie knows the truth.
Customization
Create a Spartan:
Tired of staring at Master Chief’s ugly mug? Halo 3’s online mode offers new armor permutations that allow players to customize their personas from head to toe. Will the Covenant Elite player models be eligible for similar upgrades? Only Bungie knows.

MGS4 confirmed for Xbox 360 - Kojima Productions basicly implies a X360 version of MGS4
May 28, 2007 by Ghumra · 3 Comments
Payton knows fans have legitimate concerns about Kojima Productions
possibly compromising the game’s ambition due to issues arising from
concurrent Xbox 360 development such as divided resources, less disc space,
etc.
In other words: if MGS4 comes to Xbox 360, it has not affected the
game’s development. This is the same game Hideo Kojima decided to
produce from day one. Make sure to listen to the podcast for more from
Payton and the 1UP boys about Snake, Xbox 360 vs. PS3 and more.
He says:
in any form with the idea of ‘oh, we got to do this on 360.’ Put aside
whether or not we’re developing for 360 or not, the game is built on
the PS3 hardware, as you guys have known for the past two years or
so.
Review: Xtreme Firmware- Xbox 360
May 27, 2007 by Abdalla Ahmed · 4 Comments

The worlds first hack for the xbox 360 which enables the booting of your very own backups once you have flashed your 360’s DVD drive.
The hack was originally created by Commodore4Eva with his release “Xtreme 1.0″ which was for the Samsung-Toshiba DVD Drives.
Now nearly 1.5 years later we can fully understand the true value of this hack and hence (me) dedicating this article/blog to the Xtreme Xbox360 Firmware Hack.
Before I start the actual review I would first like to thank C4E and Garyopa (& all others involved) for the many hacks they have produced for us. Having personally hacked my 360 and used backups (all legal ofcourse
) i know how valuable it has been to me, so a big, BIG thank you goes out from the behalf of sweethacks.com to the Xtreme Firmware People!
The Good:
Xtreme 5.3 update enables various things such as:
All essential (or was essential) towards keeping the 360 hidden/Stealthed from microsoft/Xbox Live.
The Bad
The Ugly
Verdict: A brilliant 9/10
